Pillar 3: Schools Intervention Programme (SIP)

Targeting Disadvantaged Children and School Infrastructure

Every day, countless children pass schools they cannot enter or sit in overcrowded classrooms with broken chairs, no books, and leaking roofs. The promise of education, a promise that should be universal, is out of reach, causing a loss of knowledge, dignity, hope, and future opportunities.

The Schools Intervention Programme (SIP) exists for these children, ensuring education is a right for all, not a privilege.

Our work focuses on three fronts:

Opening the School Gate: Enrolling children excluded due to poverty, displacement, or social barriers, breaking cycles of inequality.

Restoring Dignity in Learning Spaces: Rehabilitating schools with safe classrooms, functional desks, clean water, and sanitation so children can learn safely and comfortably.

Keeping Children in School: Providing essential supplies, mentorship, and nutritional support. A school bag, shoes, or a meal can mean the difference between dropping out and pursuing dreams.

The impact is generational. Educated girls are less likely to marry early, more likely to earn income, and make informed choices. Boys with quality education avoid child labor and contribute positively to their communities.

The Schools Intervention Programme is all about justice. It is the recognition that no child should ever be left outside the school gate, watching others move towards a future they are denied.

To honour a legacy of generosity by transforming lives and building communities for the emancipation of the less privileged.
