Project 500 is more than a campaign, it is a movement for hope, empowerment, and community transformation.
Abosede Tomori Foundation Launches Project 500 to Transform Lives Across Communities
The Abosede Tomori Foundation (ATF) has officially launched Project 500, a landmark initiative designed to uplift vulnerable individuals, empower youth, and support disadvantaged families across Nigeria. Built on its mission of “Uplifting lives, building communities,” the foundation aims to directly impact 500 beneficiaries across five key areas of need.
What Project 500 Is All About
Project 500 is a multi-impact humanitarian initiative that provides essential support to indigent citizens, youth, children, and struggling families. The project focuses on five transformational pillars:
1. Health Outreach for 500 Indigent Citizens
ATF will provide free medical outreach to underserved individuals who lack access to quality healthcare. This includes basic health checks, medications, and medical consultations to improve overall well-being.
2. Skill Development & Scholarships for 500 Youth
To fight unemployment and empower young Nigerians, the foundation will train and offer scholarships to 500 youths. This includes vocational skills, digital skills, and capacity-building programs to prepare them for sustainable economic opportunities.
3. Schools Intervention Programme (SIP) for 500 Children
Education remains a core priority for ATF. Through the SIP initiative, 500 less-privileged children will receive school supplies, learning materials, and academic support to improve classroom performance and encourage school retention.
4. Food Support for 500 Disadvantaged Families
Recognizing the growing economic hardship faced by many households, the foundation will distribute essential food packs to 500 families who struggle to meet their daily nutritional needs.
5. Cash Grants for 500 Small Business Owners
To boost micro-businesses and help families generate sustainable income, ATF will provide cash grants to 500 of the poorest small business owners. This support aims to strengthen entrepreneurship and reduce poverty.
Leadership Behind the Vision
Segun Tomori, FSCA, Chairman of the Abosede Tomori Foundation and Special Assistant on Media to the Minister of Solid Minerals Development, continues to champion initiatives that uplift marginalized groups and foster community development.
His commitment to humanitarian service remains the driving force behind Project 500.
