Segun Tomori, FSCA

Segun Tomori is a seasoned professional with a rich blend of experience in governance, communications, and community development. He is a graduate of Geology from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye, and also holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Lagos, equipping him with both technical and administrative expertise.

He is a Fellow of the West African Society of Communications and Administration (WASCA) and a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) chartered, demonstrating his strong commitment to professional excellence, leadership, and continuous growth.

Beyond his career, Segun is a passionate philanthropist with a heart for humanity. In honor of his late mother, Mrs. Abosede Adebisi Tomori, whose life was marked by love and selfless generosity, he established the Abosede Tomori Foundation (ATF). The foundation embodies her legacy by reaching thousands of lives through:

 

  • Cash grants that help small businesses thrive,

  • Free medical outreach programs that restore hope to the indigent,

  • Food packs and relief support for vulnerable families, and

  •  
  • Educational scholarships and skills empowerment initiatives that create sustainable futures.

Currently, he serves as the Special Assistant on Media to the Minister of Solid Minerals Development, where he plays a pivotal role in public communication, stakeholder engagement, and policy visibility. With over 15 years of experience spanning the private and public sectors, he has held diverse roles that reflect his versatility, commitment to service, and excellence in leadership.

At the heart of all he does is a passion to build communities, empower individuals, and create lasting impact—values he continues to drive through his personal life, professional service, and the Abosede Tomori Foundation.
