ATF, Study AI launches Nigeria’s AI-powered exam preparation platform
The Abosede Tomori Foundation (ATF) has partnered with STUDY AI to launch Nigeria’s first artificial intelligence powered examination preparation platform, onboarding 200 senior secondary school students in Lsgos state as pilot beneficiaries.
The initiative is designed to support students preparing for West African Examinations Council (WAEC), National Examinations Council (NEC and Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) by providing syndicated digital learning and intelligent tutoring through a curriculum aligned platform.
A statement by ATF on Friday states that the initiative marks a new phase in ATF’s education and skills development interventions and follows the foundation’s Back to School programme executed in October.
Education stakeholders note that many Nigerian students continue to face challenges in national examinations due to limited access to quality learning materials, outdated study methods and lack of personalised academic support.
These constraints have contributed to weak outcomes across major examinations.
The STUDY AI platform is structured to address these gaps through adaptive learning paths, real time corrections, realistic mock examinations, group study features and gamified learning tools.
The system is designed to personalise learning at scale and is expected to expand to support hundreds of thousands of students nationwide.
Segun Tomori, founder ATF and special assistant media, to the minister of Solid Minerals Development, said the project falls under the foundation’s Skills Development and Scholarship scheme, one of its five core pillars.
He said the deployment of artificial intelligence in exam preparation represents a shift toward modern, technology driven learning, with the immediate goal of helping students in his constituency improve performance and gain admission into tertiary institutions.
She said the launch reflects the company’s commitment to transforming how Nigerian students prepare for high stakes examinations.
The pilot phase covers 200 SS3 students drawn from secondary schools in Isolo and Ejigbo LCDAs within Oshodi Isolo Constituency II. Beneficiaries will have full access to the platform until the commencement of their final examinations next year.
ATF said it will track students’ performance on the platform, recognise top achievers, provide continuous academic support through STUDY AI’s online help systems and organise mock examinations to ensure adequate preparedness.

The foundation said the partnership with STUDY AI reinforces its commitment to using innovation to expand educational opportunity and strengthen human capital development in Nigeria.
